Bonus Scheme Terms & Conditions

T&C’s for Introductory Bonus on 16 hour and 35 hour Contracts through Care Friends for June and July 2022

This bonus is for the month’s June and July 2022 only.

Your 250 Care Friend points will be allocated to you on your first day of Induction, which you can then cash in ready for your first paycheck or continue to build up your points throughout the year.

This bonus is only available for 16 and 35 hour Contracts not for Bank Contracts.

Care Friend Referrers get paid 350 points which includes 250 BONUS points when a new applicant applies during June & July.

Breakdown of Care Friend Referral points:

T&C’s for Summer Bonus for Melody Care Professional Carers

To be paid an extra £1.00 per hour:-

  • Annual Leave/time off MUST be pre-booked BEFORE 31st May 2022. This will not affect your scheduled shifts.
  • Any time taken off during the pay periods below, except pre-booked holiday, notified to your Line Manager before 31st May 2022, the Professional Carer will NOT be paid their bonus. There will be NO EXCEPTIONS. Your Manager’s decision is final. 


Pay Periods are:

4th July to the 31st July, which is paid on the 12th August;

1st August to the 28th August, which is paid on the 9th September.

T&C’s for Christmas & New Year Bonus for Melody Care Professional Carers

To be paid an extra £1.00 per hour:-

  • Annual Leave/time off MUST be pre-booked BEFORE 31st October 2022. This will not affect your scheduled shifts.
  • Any time taken off during the pay periods below, except pre-booked holiday, notified to your Line Manager before 31st October 2022, the Professional Carer will NOT be paid their bonus. There will be NO EXCEPTIONS. Your Manager’s decision is final. 


Pay Periods are:

19th December 2022 to 15th January 2023 which is paid on 27th January 2023.
