SAY GOODBYE TO ZERO HOURS CONTRACTS!
We offer employee contracts with guaranteed hours starting from 16 hours per week for part-time contracts and we can offer full-time contracts at 35 hours per week. A lot of agencies say they offer you guaranteed hours but do they offer you that in writing and in an employee contract?
Melody Care offers Starter Rates and Post Probation Rates:
North Hampshire Branches (Aldershot, Alton & Farnborough):
Our Starter Rates for working Monday to Friday are £9.50 per hour and on Saturdays and Sundays, £12.50 per hour.
Our Post Probation Rates (after 6 months of joining) for working Monday to Friday - £10.00 per hour and on Saturdays and Sundays, £13.00 per hour.
South Hampshire Branch (Winchester Branch only):
Our Starter Rates for working Monday to Friday are £10.50 per hour and on Saturdays and Sundays, £13.50 per hour.
Our Post Probation Rates (after 6 months of joining) for working Monday to Friday - £11.00 per hour and on Saturdays and Sundays, £14.00 per hour.
We offer training, holiday pay, a pension, uniforms, a phone, and petrol allowance of £0.35p per mile.
TRAINING & INDUCTION
The induction and training week commences on your first official day with Melody Care. Commencing on a Monday through to Friday and you are paid £8.75 per hour for the 35 hours of training.
We will continue to support the early stages of your development by arranging Work-Based Learning in your second week of work when your full pay-rate commences.
DURING COVID 19
To ensure the safeguarding of our staff and new employees, our induction training is now available online and you can access it in the safety of your own home.
A ‘Welcome Parcel’ delivered to your door helps support your work and learning. A flexible package of e-learning courses, online 1:1 support and organised Zoom meetings help you to settle into your new post.
We offer professional development during your employment with us by offering further training in RQFs (better known as NVQs)*. We encourage support through RCF Level II, III and V. You are required to work a minimum number of hours prior to training being approved.
