24 Hour Indoor Bike Ride Fundraiser for The Rosemary Foundation

It was a fantastic weekend that began at 2pm on Friday with a 24 hour cycle event. Counsellor Andy Tree was the first to get the pedals turning. All time slots were filled ahead of the start, thanks to the enthusiastic support of the Lindford and Bordon community and also friends of Melody Care.

Massive thank you to Amy & Chloe at The Royal Exchange, Lindford, who ensured everyone was kept fed and hydrated throughout the event – the bacon rolls at 6am went down a treat!

A heartfelt thank you to Woolmer Forest Lions for their generous donation of £250, which gave the event a kick start.

To the lovely Ron – thank you for conducting the auction.

To Lisa & Buster who donated the use of their Photo Booth and props, which was thoroughly enjoyed by all.

Thank you to all the local businesses who donated items for our charity Auction – your support is greatly appreciated

Brian Wood MC took on the final two hours of the cycle as the timer counted down, finishing to a cheer from all those watching.

We are pleased to share that, thanks to the auction and donations, we collected an incredible £3,313.56 for The Rosemary Foundation – Hospice at Home. Melody Care are happy to round this up to £4,000.

Thank you again to all those involved in this successful event and being able to raise such a great amount for a worthy cause – it was great to see you all there showing fantastic community spirit ☺️
